Silver Strikers are expected to receive an attacking boost this weekend when they face the Rookies, CRECK Sporting Club as they are expected to have the highly rated striker, Christopher Gototo on board, the Club announces.
The Central Bankers have missed the attacking prowess of the left-footed lethal forward for the last four games as he last appeared in the team’s colors in April when they played against Chitipa United in their opening game of the season.

Duncan Nyoni who last played for the team during the Charity Shield Cup, Gift Chunga, Stain Davie, and Chisomo Mpachika have all been ruled out of the game against CRECK
Writes the Club, “Duncan Nyoni ws yet to taste Super League action is still out after picking up an injury in the e-season. The dribbling winger is constantly getting the required attention from the medics.
“Also not available for Sunday’s home fixture is Gift Chunga who picked up an injury in training some two weeks ago. His recent diagnosis shows that he will be out for the next four weeks.
“Forward Stanie Davie, who missed out on our recent trip to Karonga after picking up a knock last week. is still sidelined. Davie is out for two weeks. With a similar time out of action is Chisomo Mpachika who limped off mid-action in Karonga as we played Baka City FC. The defender is currently being monitored by our medical staff.”
The Bankers will be looking to continue their positive start to the season but they face resilient Macdonald Nginde Mtetemera’s team who have seven points from five games, two wins, two defeats, and one draw.
Peter Mponda’s men are leading the 16-member table with 13 points, two points above second-placed Kamuzu Barracks and they are yet to taste a defeat this season of high especially.
