FCB Nyasa Big Bullets Head Coach Peter Mponda has declared that the club will not stand in the way of any player who wishes to leave, a statement made amidst recent reports regarding forward Lameck Gamphani’s desire for more playing time.
Mponda addressed the media during a pre-match press conference on Thursday, responding to a Wa Mpira report suggesting Gamphani, a former Dedza Dynamos attacker, was unhappy with his limited minutes at the club and was considering a move.

“He is back training with us,” Mponda stated, clarifying Gamphani’s current status. “He had an ankle injury. I haven’t heard from the player that he wants to leave. If anyone wants to leave, we will not stand in their way – but we want players who want to fight for the badge.”
Gamphani joined the Bullets last season from Dedza Dynamos but has reportedly struggled to secure a regular starting spot in the team.
Mponda acknowledged the player’s recent injury but emphasized the club’s stance on player movement, signaling a focus on retaining only those fully committed to the team’s ambitions.
