Wanderers receive massive boost as Chaziya, Singin return

Mighty Mukuru Wanderers has received a massive boost ahead of their much-anticipated game against FCB Nyasa Big Bullets in their first Blantyre Derby of the season as they welcome back their captain, Lawrence Chaziya, and midfielder, Blessings Singini from injury.

The team’s deputy coach, Meke Mwase, has confirmed the development when he talked to the members of the Press on Friday and said he has no injury ahead of the Blantyre Derby.

“No, we don’t have injuries in the team as everyone is fit for the game and we are full house unless there are other sporting-related issues.” Said Mwase.

Meanwhile, ahead of the game, Mwase said the Nomads have prepared very well for the game and are looking for a positive result in the match.

“It’s a new season with new ideas so we have prepared very well for the game and everyone knows how important this game is so our preparations have been good and we are good to go.” Added Mwase.

Wanderers on Thursday also completed the signing of the Cameroonian-born, Sama Thierry Tanjong will now don blue and white colors for the next 24 months after putting pen to paper on Thursday evening in Blantyre.

Former Cameroon’s Under 20 International will ply his trade at Lali Lubani Road after completing the much-anticipated move by Wanderers followers.

Tanjong, who launched his football career at First Sports Academy in Cameroon at the age of 7, has played for various clubs in Cameroon, Congo, and South Africa with a combined record of 112 goals. Nicknamed the Predator, the former Baroka FC hitman plays as a forward.

The Nomads have so far recorded two wins and two draws in the match that saw them placed in position three on the log table with 8 points and has managed to concede just one goal and score 7 goals.
