Civil Service United welcome FCB Nyasa Big Bullets to Civo Stadium in match week 13 of the TNM Super League this afternoon.
The Servants are coming off a 1-all draw away to Kamuzu Barracks and will be looking to bounce back to winning ways on home turf.
On the other hand, Bullets head into the clash following a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Super League newcomers Ekhaya FC.

Looking ahead to the showdown, Civil Service United Head Coach Abbas Makawa says his squad is fired up to take on Bullets, knowing just how crucial three points would be.
“We are prepared, just as we prepare for every match. Everyone in the camp understands the importance of winning today. If we grab the win, we will climb the log and gain momentum and confidence, which is key to realizing our goal of finishing the first round in the top 8,” Makawa explained.
Makawa also hinted that some players will miss out due to injuries, though the club has opted not to reveal their identities.
However, he emphasized that the technical panel remains confident in the available squad to get the job done.
On the other sideline, Bullets Head Coach Peter Mponda said all has gone smoothly in the Red Army camp, and there is a positive buzz among the players heading into the fixture.
“All teams bring their A-game when facing Bullets. We are heading to Lilongwe—never an easy trip, especially since we haven’t won there in two years. But the intensity and attitude during training gave us a real sense that we can get maximum three points. A victory here would be massive for our campaign,” said Mponda.
He shared that Bullets will be without the services of Chrispin Mapemba and Mike Mkwate, both sidelined with injuries, while Wongani Lungu remains a doubt, having missed two consecutive training sessions.
Civil, currently 14th on the log with 10 points from 10 games, have had a rocky start to the season and will be aiming to turn things around against a side they have managed to frustrate in recent meetings.
Meanwhile, Bullets are looking to tighten their grip on the title race, sitting top of the table with 27 points from a possible 30. In their 10 matches, they have only stumbled once—losing to Mighty Wanderers—while cruising to victory in the other nine.
