Striker Blessings Mwalirino will compete with defensive midfielder Felix Zulu and rising star Adam Wallace for Mighty Wanderers’ Player of the Month award for August.
The three players delivered outstanding performances during a challenging month for the Nomads, who managed just two wins alongside three draws across all competitions.
Mwalirino earned Player of the Match honors when Wanderers defeated Mafco FC in the league, with his solitary goal securing all three points in their second-round opener. The striker also featured in a 1-1 home draw against Chitipa United, goalless draws against Civil Service United and Creck Sporting Club, and the team’s 3-0 FDH Bank Cup victory over Mafco FC.
