Speaking at the launch, Mukuru’s Marketing and Partner Lead Taleetha Jussab emphasized the company’s broader mission of creating opportunities for Malawians.

“At Mukuru, we believe empowerment begins with opportunity. Whether it’s helping families send money home safely or receive funds from abroad at no fee into the Mukuru Wallet, or creating opportunities like this to empower young women through sports, our mission is to help people rise,” Jussab said.

She added that the league would play a crucial role in shaping the future of Malawian netball while uplifting young women who represent the country on various platforms.
