“It was a tough game considering that Creck Sporting Club is a good side but my boys worked hard and I am very happy that my team won. Yes they played according to how we planned.” Said Chirambo.

Meanwhile, the losing coach, Macdonald Mtetemera, said he needs to work more as losing twice in a row is not good for his side.

“I am not happy with the result, it’s a bad result losing twice consecutively, there are a lot of work to do so that we start performing well again but I’m not happy with this.” Said Mtetemera.

The hosts started on a high note with pressing hard in the match but failed to unlock the visitors with their five corner kicks in the opening 10 minutes and despite keeping possession, Eric Kaonga connected a Chawanangwa Mkandawire’s ball to hammer home on 28th minute of the game. Kaonga was then replaced by Chimwemwe Chunga on 36th minute due to injury and the visitors went at half time leading by a goal.

Macdonald Mtetemera introduced Tathedwa Willard and Andrew Mapemba for Stain Patrick and Harvey Nasiyaya on 49th minute and Babangida Ishaya was denied by the cross bar after the goalkeeper had already been beaten on 54th minute before Isaac Msiska scoring a brilliant solo goal to double the scores.

Hammers continued knocking in search of the third goal with man of the match, Wongani Lungu controlling the midfield then Hammers introduced Tiza Nyirenda for Samuel Amos while Dalitso Nahipa and Rahim Mtondera came in for Arnold Kiyama and Ademola Ajibola on 70th minute for Creck Sporting Club. Mtondera had his effort going wide then Msiska paved a way for Innocent Magaleta for Hammers before George Chaomba scoring on a rebound for consolation on the 94th minute of the match.
