Play-offs will produce one team to complete the full set of the National Women’s Football Championship.
The FAM National Women Championship which is organised by the National Womens Football Association (NWFA) is scheduled to kick off this Saturday the 13th of April.
Three womens Football teams, Ekwendeni Sisters from the North, Civil Service women from the Central and Bvumbwe womens football from the Southern Region will battle for the 10th vacant position and the winner will join 9 teams that already qualified to make a total of 10 teams in the competition.

Lustica Gondwe, National Womens Football Association NWFA General Secritary Said they have well prepared to organised this Championship and teams should not get worried anymore.
She added that this tournament will not take much time to give ample time to the players and their clubs to prepare for their regional football league.
“One team will qualify to join the 9 teams that are already in the Championship,” she said. “The competition [Championship] will start on April 22 in Lilongwe.
“We are ready, teams are in groups. The competition will not take longer than it used to. It will be just for a week and everything is ready.
Kukoma Mtopwa womens Football the last season’s Champions, FCB Nyasa Big Bullets Women and the Mighty Mukuru Wanders women football from the Southern already qualified.
From the Central Region, Lioness, Ascent Academy, and Silver Strikers women while Moyale Baracks Women, MK Academy and CY sister are from the North.
The Champions will bag MK8, 000,000 , MK4 ,000,000 the runners third place MK2,000,000 and MK 1.5,000,000 to the fourth-placed teams.
Part of the latter letter released by the NWFA shows that each of the 10 qualifying teams will receive a subversion of mk 1,000,000 during the play-offs.
