The timing couldn’t be more different for the two sides. Civil Service United enter the match riding a wave of confidence, having gone unbeaten in their last nine matches across all competitions. This impressive run has seen them climb to 6th place in the league standings with 23 points.

Creck Sporting Club, however, have endured a more challenging campaign. Their recent form tells a story of inconsistency – just two wins from their last seven outings, alongside four defeats and a draw. This mixed bag of results has left them languishing in 11th position with 18 points.
When these sides met in the first round, Civil Service United dominated proceedings with a convincing 2-0 victory. The star of that encounter was substitute Dastin Banda, who came off the bench to score both goals and secure all three points for his side.
As Saturday’s 2:30pm kickoff approaches, Civil Service United will be looking to complete the double over their opponents and continue their excellent run of form. For Creck Sporting Club, it’s an opportunity to turn their season around and close the five-point gap between the teams.
The added subplot of former teammates Billiati and Phiri facing each other, under the guidance of the same manager, adds an extra layer of intrigue to what should be a compelling Super League fixture.
