The Super League of Malawi, Sulom has announced that the referees’ disbursement has been honoured as we enter into week Six of the season.
In an announcement made on Friday morning, Sulom said MK72 Million has been disbursed into the Referees Association’s account to uphold officiation standards.

“In adherence to its commitment to uphold ethical standards in officiation, the Super League of Malawi (SULOM) proudly announces the disbursement of Seventy Two Million Kwacha to the National Referees Association, being full and final payment for the 2024 referees fees,” reads in part.
SULOM say they recognize the important role that referees are playing in Reviving, Reforming and Rebranding the league.
“This payment, therefore, underscores SULOM’s unwavering support for their vital contribution to the league and football in general. SULOM reaffirms its commitment to working collaboratively with all stakeholders to ensure the Super League league continues to thrive on principles of integrity, fairness, and respect for the game as we contribute towards the transformation of football in Malawi,” reads the announcement
