The Super League of Malawi (SULOM) has taken a tough stance on discipline, charging Silver Strikers, Ekhaya FC, and goalkeeper Elias Missi over incidents of unsporting behavior.
Silver Strikers are accused of losing control over their fans, leading to pitch invasion and intimidation of Mafco FC players, including pouring liquid on their goalkeeper — actions deemed harmful to the league’s integrity.
In another incident, Ekhaya FC’s shot-stopper Elias Missi faces violent conduct charges after allegedly strangling FCB Nyasa Big Bullets forward Babatunde Adepoju.
