Premier Bet Malawi has announced a K10 million sponsorship for the Southern Zone Basketball League’s (Sozobal) day-long GreenTop 3×3 Basketball Tournament. The event is scheduled for August 23 at the Blantyre Sports Arena, and is a significant step toward introducing and popularizing the 3×3 basketball format in Malawi.

Premier Bet Malawi’s Community Manager, Hamsa Mgaye, emphasized the company’s commitment to sports development in the country. “Through events like this, we can engage the community and spread messages about safe and responsible betting habits,” Mgaye said.

The sponsorship extends the company’s support to the basketball community, which Mgaye said they felt “obliged to extend their sports sponsorship to.”
