Defenders Innocent Shema and McDonald Lameck, alongside midfielder Zebron Kalima, have been nominated for Silver Strikers’ November Player of the Month award.
The trio will compete for the club’s monthly accolades in a vote conducted by the club. The winner will receive a K500,000 shopping voucher from award-winning fashion store C.P Investments, while Bluewaves Energy Limited will present a gas stove, 6kg cylinder, gas, LPG pipe, and regulator.
November saw Shema cement his place in the starting lineup with impressive performances across five of the club’s six matches. The versatile defender, capable of playing as center-back or on either flank, made an impact after coming on at halftime in the away fixture against Dedza Dynamos.

His standout moment came in the Lilongwe derby against Civik Service United at Civo Stadium, where he scored and earned the Man of the Match award for his commanding display.
Fellow defender Lameck also featured in five matches during November, missing only the clash against Moyale Barracks at Silver Stadium due to suspension after accumulating three yellow cards.
The right-back has earned his nomination through exceptional performances characterized by solid defending and explosive attacking runs down the right flank. The 2024 Silver Strikers Best Defender receives his second nomination of the year, having previously made the shortlist in August.
Kalima secures his third nomination of 2024, having previously been shortlisted in May and August without claiming the prize on either occasion.
The left-footed midfielder was ever-present in November, featuring in all six matches and producing magnificent performances that helped the Central Bankers maintain their unbeaten run throughout the month. With his deft touches and creative vision, Kalima consistently drove Silver Strikers forward, generating threatening attacks and creating numerous goal-scoring opportunities.
