Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League champions Scotland FC are likely to part ways with Malawi Flames striker Khuda Muyaba at the end of the season, sources have confirmed to Wa Mpira.

Muyaba, who previously played for Moyale Barracks and Silver Strikers, joined the Zimbabwean giants earlier this year after leaving Venda Academy in South Africa on a two-year contract.

However, the 31-year-old has struggled for game time at the star-studded club, where he competes for places alongside former Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns star Khama Billiat, Walter Musona, and ex-Orlando Pirates and SuperSport United forward Terrence Dzvukamanja.

Despite contributing to Scotland’s league triumph this season, Muyaba has managed just one goal—against Bikita—and has been largely relegated to substitute appearances. The club is now reportedly considering his departure along with 10 other players.

Muyaba’s recent history in South African football has been turbulent. He famously dragged Polokwane City (Rise and Shine) to FIFA over unpaid wages, resulting in a transfer ban for the Limpopo-based side. His spell at Venda FC in the second tier was equally brief, and his stint with Richards Bay lasted only six months, where he scored just once in 14 appearances.

Other Players Facing Exit: Godknows Murwira, Ronald Pfumbidzai, Talbert Shumba, Tichaona Chipunza, Vassili Kawe, Marvellous Chigumhira, Michael Tapera, Panashe Mutimbanyoka, Lynoth Chikuhwa (permanent move to Chicken Inn), and Sadney Uri-Khob are also on the club’s offload list.

Scotland’s 2026 Transfer Targets: As they prepare for squad restructuring, Scotland FC are reportedly pursuing Washington Arubi, Washington Navaya, Emmanuel Jalai, Marvellous Nakamba, Keletso Makgalwa, and Riyan Hanamub for the 2026 season.
