Emmanuel Saviel continues with his scoring streak as he was on target again on Friday when Civil Service United recorded their second consecutive win after walloping struggling Baka City Football Club at Civo Stadium.
Chikaiko Batison opened the scores early in the first half five minutes before man of the moment, Emmanuel Saviel scored his seventh goal of the season seven minutes later. Batison completed his brace in the second half.

The Servants have moved to fifth with 14 points, level with the defending Champions, FCB Nyasa Big Bullets who have a superior goal difference.
Emmanuel Saviel turns out to be the focal point of Civil Service United’s attacking team as he is chasing the golden boot trailing with a goal behind Kamuzu Barracks’ Zeliati Nkhoma.
Desperate to continue with the winning streak, Abbas Makawa retained the leading striker, Saviel in the starting team, and Chikaiko Batison provided another dimension in the attacking third.
Off the back of thumping Chitipa United 3-1, Civil Service United made their wish clear in the first minutes and the pressure paid off just inside five minutes into the game when Batison beat the keeper with a fine finish after capitalizing on Baka City’s defender’s kindergarten error.
Playing a high-pressing football, the Servants forced the visitors to make another blunder at the back and the chance landed on the feet of the hot striker, Emmanuel Saviel who slotted the ball past Omari Hammas for the second goal for the hosts.
Civil continued to be a threat to the visitors with their attacking duo of Saviel and Batison who missed a chance each. Rahaman John was called into action by Gule Mwayisope in the 30th minute but he was alert to avert the danger.

Baka City FC are struggling and they are slumped to the bottom of the table with just three points after playing nine games and they are yet to taste a win in the elite league.
Civil’s brilliance in the first half proved Baka City to be lighter and their Coach, Kondwani Mwalwen made the substitution just before the break when Nelson Sikaona and Joseph Mwambungu were called in for Maxwell Mangwere and Bob Longwe.
Despite the changes, Civil Service United had a two-goal advantage at the break and the coach introduced Samson Phiri for Righteous Banda just after the recess as he aimed to ignite his attacking prowess.
The visitors nearly pulled one back through Mwayisope but he squandered the chance as he put his effort over the bar. Civil Service United put Baka City’s hopes of staging a dramatic comeback into doubt when Chikaiko Batison completed his brace after 60 minutes.
A 3-0 win over Baka City was Civil Service United’s fourth win of the season in nine games. The team has scored 13 goals in the 2024 TNM Super League, the second-highest-scoring team , 8 goals behind Silver Strikers who have scored 21 goals this season.
