“Welcome to assistant coach and video analyst, Ramadhan Nsanzurwimo, to the big CHUI Family,” announces Singida FC.
The Burundian gaffer joined Wanderers earlier this year, despite arriving with promises, he failed to live up to the expectations as he resigned from his post just after a few months.
He confirmed in an interview with Nation Sport this evening stating, “If the table doesn’t serve you anymore, what do you do?… complete the sentence…yes! I won’t comment further.”
After two wins over newly promoted teams, CRECK Sporting Club and FOMO FC, Ramadan felt that he had the winning formula but he lost two games, drawing twice in his last five games at the Club.
The team endured morale-milking results in the last five games, winning just once including two back-to-back defeats against Silver Strikers and Mzuzu City Hammers.
After a 2-0 defeat at Mzuzu Stadium on Saturday, the atmosphere became harsh for the Coach as the supporters demanded his ‘immediate’ sacking of players were also in trouble as fans demanded them to walk on foot for a below-par performance.
Singida FC finished 11th last season with 33 points from 30 games.
