Yumbe made the remarks while addressing football fans at Dedza Stadium on the sidelines of the Castel Challenge Cup final between Thete FC and Kalinyeke FC.

“Goshen City Dedza Dynamos is for everyone, and the team will give opportunities to players in Dedza to try their luck. That’s why our head coach and his assistants were here,” he said.
He revealed that the coaches have identified several players, including Noel Chimalira and Beryson Paul, who will likely be given opportunities at the club.
“We want more players from Dedza to wear the yellow and black uniform for Goshen City Dedza Dynamos FC, but they need to prove that they deserve it,” Yumbe added.
He expressed appreciation for the support the people of Dedza have been providing to the team, noting that it has been instrumental in keeping the club in the elite league.
Commenting on the development, head coach Alex Ngwira said he was impressed with what he witnessed in the final, noting that the district has players with immense potential.
“I have identified several players, and just as I did with one player from Lobi who is now with us, the same will happen to those we have spotted,” Ngwira said.
This comes as the team has secured a sponsorship deal with Goshen City through Prophet Shepherd Bushiri.
