Silver Strikers’ versatile defender-cum-midfielder Maxwell Paipi has been named the August Player of the Month, capping off an impressive period of consistent performances for the club.
Paipi edged out fellow nominees goalkeeper George Chikooka and right-back McDonald Lameck to claim the prestigious award.

The Vice-Captain demonstrated exceptional leadership and versatility throughout August, stepping up in the absence of first-team Captain Chikondi Kamanga. Paipi featured in all five matches during the month, seamlessly transitioning between roles as a defensive midfielder and center back, showcasing his tactical intelligence and adaptability.

For his outstanding performances, Paipi received multiple prizes from the club’s sponsors. Blue Waves Energy Limited, represented by Business Development Manager Madalitso Namitembo, presented him with a gas stove and a 10kg filled gas cylinder.
Additionally, C.P Investments rewarded the August Player of the Month with a K500,000 shopping voucher. Paipi took time to visit the award-winning fashion store, where he selected high-end clothing items from their collection.
