Matchweek Ten of the 2025/26 TNM Super League served up a thrilling football spectacle—full of flair, drama, goals, and standout performances.

A total of 21 goals were netted across the country with Civil Service United’s Frank Chizuze and Precious Chipungu bagging braces in Songwe’s downfall.

Here is our opinion-based Best XI of Matchweek Thirteen compiled by Blessings Chitekwere:

Goalkeeper: Joseph Fulawo (Mzuzu City Hammers)
Despite conceding from the spot in the dying minutes, Fulawo had a grand game, forcing the result to remain goalless until the 90th minute against Mighty Wanderers with his fantastic saves.
He was voted Man of the Match.

Left back: Alick Lungu (Ekhaya FC)
Lungu produced an electric performance against Moyale Barracks. He overlapped the left flank effortlessly and ended up scoring in the dying minutes to bury the game 3-0.

Right back: Eric Atsiga (Chitipa United)
The Ghanaian international has formed a solid defense at Chitipa United, powering the team to six games without conceding.
He was voted Man of the Match over the past weekend against CRECK Sporting Club — his fourth accolade in the league so far.

Atsiga: has kept 6 successive clean sheets and voted Man of the Match four times in the league this campaign

Center back: Sam Chibvunde (Kamuzu Barracks)
Chibvunde captained his team, Kamuzu Barracks, to a goalless stalemate against Mighty WakaWaka Tigers at Champions Stadium. His solid rock performance at the back earned him a deserved Man of the Match award.

Defensive Midfielder: Moses Banda (Civil Service United)
The Civil captain was a true hero in Matchweek 13, where his team had two games. In the first game, he scored the winning goal in a 2-0 triumph over FCB Nyasa Big Bullets and was voted Man of the Match. In the second game, he captained his side to a 5-0 massacre of Songwe Border United.

Central Holding Midfielder: Blessings Singini (Mighty Wanderers)
Singini produced a fantastic performance in Mighty Wanderers’ 1-0 win over Ekhaya FC and was voted Man of the Match for his commanding presence in midfield. He assisted the only goal of the day that separated the two sides. His presence was also crucial as he denied Mzuzu City Hammers any penetration, helping Wanderers claim a late 1-0 win.

Singini: produced a commanding performance and provided an assist

Attacking Midfielder: James Lumbe (Ekhaya FC)
A goal and a Man of the Match award against Moyale Barracks earned the youngster a spot in the Team of the Week.

Frank Chizuze (Civil Service United)
Chizuze championed the Civil massacre of Songwe with his two goals and a Man of the Match performance. The former Silver Strikers attacking midfielder is settling in well at Civil.

Center Forward: Precious Chipungu (Civil Service United)
Chipungu was the only center forward to score a brace in Matchweek 13. He did it for Civil to secure a comfortable win over Songwe.
