TP Mazembe striker Lanjesi Nkhoma scored his third goal in as many matches as his team thumped Don Bosco 4-0 in the Ligue 1 Championship Playoffs in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Nkhoma opened the scoring for Mazembe in the first minute, capitalizing on a brilliant assist from Patrick Mwaungulu. The forward was instrumental in the match, playing 72 minutes before being substituted with his team leading 3-0.

Mwaungulu had a standout first half, not only setting up Nkhoma’s goal but also hitting the post. He was replaced at halftime.
The win marks Mazembe’s eighth victory in the playoffs, taking them to 25 points in the 12-team log table. They have drawn one and lost three matches so far in their bid for the championship.
Nkhoma’s goal against Don Bosco, his former club, takes his tally to two goals and three assists in the past three matches. Mwaungulu has also been impressive, scoring three goals and providing two assists since joining Mazembe from Don Bosco, where they played on loan.
