On his part, Uchizi Nkunika of Jenda United described the game as very painful as his boys failed to perform the way they prepared for this match.
“We have lost but this is the most painful defeat in the League, we haven’t won a game yes but this has been painful, the team failed to deliver today, we accept and move on.” Said Nkunika.

Head coach for the hosts, Nelson Chirwa described the game as balanced as both teams played very well in search of a win.
“It was a good game, both teams came here to win and for us we are at the bottom of the League so we wanted a win and we scored a goal but towards the end of the first half we relaxed and our friends scored.” Said Chirwa.
Meanwhile, Assistant coach for Chintheche United, MacMillan Banda, said hid team missed a lot of chances which could have won them the game.
“It was a good game, both sides were good but we missed good chances, in the added time we missed and in regulation time we also got clean chances which we could have scored but we failed.” Said Banda.
Chintheche now moved up to 15 points from four wins, three draws and two losses on position 6 while Chilumba remain 11th with one win, four draws and four defeats in the League.
The two games were scheduled for last Sunday but were shifted to Tuesday as Jenda United and Chintheche failed to make it to Blantyre and Chitipa respectively due to fuel scarcity in the country.
