Local sports organization Mpira Mmudzi Mwathu has entered into a significant partnership with Malawi’s premier football club Mighty Wanderers FC, positioning itself as a key player in the country’s continental football aspirations.
The partnership comes at a crucial time as the Nomads prepare for their CAF Champions League campaign, marking a new chapter in Malawian football’s international presence.

Under the new agreement, Mpira Mmudzi Mwathu will take on critical operational responsibilities that demonstrate their commitment to “serving the game at international level.” The organization has been specifically entrusted with managing corporate hospitality services and enhancing matchday operations for Wanderers’ continental fixtures.
“We are excited to announce that we have entered into a partnership with domestic football powerhouse Mighty Wanderers Football Club ahead of its CAF Champions League engagements,” the organization stated in their announcement.
The partnership encompasses two primary areas of responsibility:
- Corporate Box Management: Handling the sale of premium corporate hospitality packages for all Nomads home matches
- Matchday Operations: Providing professional ball boys and mascots for high-profile continental fixtures
Mpira Mmudzi Mwathu’s first assignment under this partnership will be the highly anticipated clash between Mighty Wanderers and Botswana’s top-flight side Jwaneng Galaxy FC. The CAF Champions League 1st Preliminary Round fixture is scheduled for Sunday, September 21, 2025, with a 3:00 PM kickoff at Lilongwe’s Bingu National Stadium.
The organization is offering an exclusive corporate box experience priced at MWK 300,000 for groups of 10 people. This premium package provides supporters with an elevated way to witness what promises to be a continental showpiece.
Corporate Box W26 will serve as the venue for this luxury experience, offering guests comfort and excellent viewing angles for the historic encounter.
