Premier Bet Dedza Dynamos will be hoping for redemption after suffering back-to-back defeats in the TNM Super League when they host Blue Eagles at the Dedza Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The Dedza-based side had shown promise under new head coach Alex Ngwira but hit a stumbling block with a 2-0 loss to Mighty Wanderers, followed by another 2-0 defeat at the hands of MAFCO last weekend at Chitowe Stadium.
Meanwhile, Blue Eagles last played on 21st June 2025, claiming a 2-1 home victory over MAFCO. The Area 30 outfit will be aiming to stretch their unbeaten run to six matches, having registered two wins and three draws in their last five league games.

Head-to-head, the two sides have met four times in the league, with each side claiming a single win and the other two meetings ending in stalemates. Eagles last tasted victory in 2022, while Dynamos triumphed in 2023.
Speaking ahead of the match, Dynamos assistant coach Bruno Milanzie expressed confidence in his squad’s preparation and desire to bounce back.
“We’ve prepared very well and the players are ready for the game. As you know, we haven’t done well in the past two matches, so we want to fight hard and give our supporters something to cheer about at home,” said Milanzie.
On the other hand, Blue Eagles head coach De Klerk Msakakuona is anticipating a tight contest, especially with Dynamos enjoying home-ground advantage.
“We are ready for the game and have talked to the players about its importance. We know it will be tough as Dedza will be playing at home, but we’ll try our best to get a positive result,” said Msakakuona.
Heading into the fixture, Dynamos sit 9th on the log with 14 points from 12 matches — four wins, two draws, and six losses — while Blue Eagles are in 6th place with 16 points from 10 games, having notched four wins, four draws, and two losses.
