The Scorchers forward was on target once more and assisted Michalle Cooper’s opener to inspire Kansas City Current to a 1-2 win over Gotham FC in the National Women’s Soccer league in USA.

The team lead on the table with 27 points from 11 games, five above Orlando Pride and Chawinga leads the golden Boot race with 7 goals and two assists.

The forward was not even among the Substitutes as Monterey Bay FC came from behind to beat Lexington SC 2-1 in the USL League One in USA on Sunday.

Lanjesi Nkhoma

The forward scored in his back-to-back matches for the first time at TP Mazembe as he netted on the third minute in a 0-4 win over Don Bosco on Sunday. The goal meant he has scored two and provided three assists in the past three matches for the team. Mazembe now tops the group with 25 points from 12 games in the League.

Patrick Mwaungulu

The midfielder provided an assist to Lanjesi Nkhoma as TP Mazembe beat Don Bosco 0-4 in the Ligue 1 Championship Playoffs in Democratic Republic of Congo on Sunday. He has managed to score three goals and provided two assists since joining the team.

Vanessa Chikupira

The Scorchers forward netted two goals as BIIK Shymkent Women beat Zhetysu Women 12-0 in the Kazakhstan Women’s League on Monday afternoon. Her team remain top with 22 points from 8 games having scored 87 goals and conceded just two goals.

Chikupira has now 7 goals that she has scored in the League and the top scorer is Gulnara Gabelia of her team who has netted 30 goals already in the League.

Bernadetter Mkandawire

The right back was also featured in BIIK Shymkent’s 12-0 win over Zhetysu Women in Kazakhstan on Monday. She has two goals in 8 League matches so far.
