Kalisto Pasuwa has called for fair officiating this afternoon as the red armies are in the jungle, hunting for their first away win over Mafco FC since 2018 in a league game.

The defending Champions have failed to win away against the Salima Soldiers in their last three attempts, including the unwanted defeat at Dedza Stadium in 2022 that denied them an invincible season while two games ended in stalemate.

Speaking to the Club’s Media ahead of the crucial game, the Zimbabwean gaffer said the referees should be fair when discharging their duties this afternoon.

“We hope on the other side of officiating, everything will be okay because some of the games that we are playing away from home, we are also having this problem of officiating.

Big Bullets beat Mafco FC thrice last season, twice in the cup finals and once in the league game while the other game ended in a stalemate in Chitowe.

However, Pasuwa said his charges must have a positive mindset when facing such struggling sides.

“[Mafco FC] is a team which has been giving us a torrid time when we are playing against them at Chitowe Stadium. We need to be positive in whatever we do, the approach and even when the game starts,” he added.

Meanwhile, Mafco FC Assistant Coach, Jimmy Mzunga said the team is geared to face Bullets.

“We have had problems in our previous games but we are now good to go after rectifying all the problems,” he said.
