Moyale Barracks have fired warning shots at FCB Nyasa Big Bullets ahead of the Monday Afternoon Football at Mzuzu Stadium. The Soldiers are searching for the winning formula after playing four games without a win.
After a good start to the season, the Kaning’ina Soldiers lost consistency as they have recorded four back-to-back draws, sitting 10th with 10 points from seven games.

Speaking ahead of the crucial meeting, Prichard Mwansa, head coach for the team said they are geared to upset the title chasers.
“It will not be an easy game but we have to control the game and take all the points,” he said. “FCB Nyasa Big Bullets will come flat out, we already know this.
“We have been preparing for the game and we feel that as are ready for the battle. We need to work hard to get points because we’re are coming from draws.”
Moyale Barracks are unbeaten at home this season, staging a late comeback against Mafco FC before thumping Civil Service United 3-0. The two wins were followed by three back-to-back draws against Mzuzu City Hammers, Dedza Dynamos Football Club, and Chitipa United.

FCB Nyasa Big Bullets are coming from a 2-0 win over Mzuzu City Hammers and dropping points will not be an option amidst the heated title race as the Silver Strikers are flying higher in the TNM Super League.
Heading into Monday’s fixture, the people’s team are 9 points behind the table-toppers, Silver Strikers. Kalisto Pasuwa Bullets will have to correct themselves ahead of the game.
“We need to correct ourselves here [at training] because they [Moyale] will not look at how they performed previously before facing us. They will raise their tempo.
“I always advise my players not to look for names, and the opponents at hand. We need to have the correct mindset so that we collect points by the end of the day,” he said.
Bullets’ last visit against Moyale, needed Lanjesi Nkhoma’s magic to rescue a game in a five-goal thriller after Love Jere and Raphael Phiri cancelled Ephraim Kondowe’s brace at Rumphi stadium.
Moyale Barracks bagged maximum points against Bullets in 2021 courtesy of Lloyd Njaliwa’s strike but they have lost 9 of their last 11 league meetings against Bullets.
