Kamuzu Barracks Head Coach, Charles Kamanga said the technical panel has rectified the problems that they had during their opening game against Mighty Mukuru Wanderers in Blantyre.
KB played a 1-all stalemate against Nomads last weekend but they missed several chances. Wanderers took the lead through Christopher Kumwembe who planted home Stanley Sanudi’s free-kick but the Lilongwe-based Soldiers fought back for a point with Zeliati Nkhoma tapping home from close range.

“The boys are just good and promising. We sat down with the boys after failing to utilize the chances that we created against Wanderers.
“We had to tell the players, the strikers what to do to score goals. We are sure that we are not going to have the same problem against Mafco FC,” he said.

Charles Kamanga said Kamuzu Barracks’ history at Chitowe Stadium will give them confidence when they travel to Dwangwa on Saturday.
“When we play Mafco at their home, we always win the game and I have full confidence that we will win the game. The boys are ready,” he said.
Kamuzu Barracks are yet to lose an away game against Mafco in 11 meetings since 2012. They won five games, drawing six times.
Mafco FC are coming from a late defeat to Moyale Barracks last weekend after taking the lead in the first half through Bernard Chimaimba.
KB’s last visit to the venue saw them getting all the points after a 1-0 win with Gregory Nachipo scoring a late goal.
Mafco FC have just won one game from the last five games, losing two and drawing two, losing one.
On the other hand, Kamuzu Barracks have won two of their last five games, beating Extreme FC and Blue Eagles
