FCB Nyasa Big Bullets, one of Malawi’s most prominent football clubs, has secured a significant partnership with HTD, the official distributor for KIA Motors, Total Tools & Equipment, and SYM Scooters. This new sponsorship, announced on Tuesday in Blantyre, will see HTD inject MK1.2 million monthly into the club’s Player of the Month awards, a move set to bolster player motivation across all three of the club’s active squads.
This new deal replaces the previous sponsorship by Hurbetus Clausia, whose agreement expired last year. HTD’s commitment makes FCB Nyasa Big Bullets the first club in Malawi to offer Player of the Month awards across its main team, reserve team, and women’s team.
Under the revamped awards, Player of the month at main team will be getting MK600,000 while winners at Reserve team and Women’s team will be getting MK200, 000 each, underscoring HTD’s commitment to recognizing excellence and fostering talent at every level of the club.

Speaking at the signing ceremony held at the club’s headquarters, Ziyaad Sidik, HTD General Manager, expressed his admiration for the club. “It is safe to say that FCB Nyasa Big Bullets is the greatest football club in Malawi,” Sidik stated.
He emphasized that the club’s success is a direct result of its players’ quality, highlighting that “a highly motivated player can elevate the team’s performance — and that’s why HTD is proud to support the club with a monthly commitment towards these awards.”

Club President Konrad Buckle, speaking on behalf of FCB Nyasa Big Bullets, emphasized the critical role of belief, motivation, and performance in shaping the future of football in Malawi. He acknowledged the challenging economic climate and the club’s pioneering efforts in commercializing football in the country.
“What excites us is that this partnership not only supports the club but directly rewards players for their effort on the pitch,” Buckle explained. “That motivates them — and when players are inspired, they excite our supporters.” He concluded by calling sponsors “more than partners — they’re investors,” welcoming others who share HTD’s belief in the club’s vision.
The partnership launch also served as the occasion to unveil the first HTD Player of the Month winners, recognizing outstanding performances from April, May, and June 2025:
