Malawian English-based forward Shaquille Gwengwe continues to enjoy life at his new club, Poole Town, after netting his third league hat-trick to help his team salvage a point in a thrilling 5-5 draw against Tiverton in the Southern League Premier South on Wednesday.
Fresh from scoring the winner in a 1-0 victory against Basingstoke, Gwengwe put in a brilliant performance to help his side avoid defeat, with his second-half equalizer securing a valuable point.

The match produced a remarkable nine goals in the first half. Tiverton took an early lead through Tor Swann in the second minute, but Gwengwe leveled just two minutes later. The visitors then scored twice more through Swann and Aiden Horne to lead 3-1 after 15 minutes.
Poole Town fought back superbly, scoring three goals in a 16-minute spell. Charlie Davie pulled one back in the 19th minute, before Gwengwe converted a penalty six minutes later. Ryan Campbell then completed the comeback to make it 4-3 to the hosts.
However, Tiverton reclaimed the lead before halftime. Matthew Wood equalized in the 44th minute before Horne completed his brace in stoppage time to give the visitors a 5-4 advantage at the break.
Gwengwe had the final say, though, scoring in the 66th minute to earn Poole Town a hard-fought draw.
The hat-trick takes Gwengwe to 17 league goals for the season, four clear of his nearest challenger, Dawid Rogalski of Walton & Hersham, who has 13 goals.
Poole Town sit fourth in the table with 31 points from 17 matches, 13 points behind leaders Walton & Hersham.
Gwengwe has now scored 20 goals in all competitions in just 21 appearances for the club.
