The Clever Boys took the lead through Geoffrey Mwakyombe who beat Chimbamba with a brilliant touch but Ephraim Kondowe’s third goal in three matches canceled Baka’s lead before Chawanangwa Gumbo sealing the win in the 45th minute for the People’s team to claim a 2-1 win.
The Zimbabwean gaffer Pasuwa said the win was vital considering that they were playing a team that they had little information about and hailed his charges for the win.
“A good victory considering that we didn’t know how Baka City is but I warned the boys to say don’t underrate any team that comes and you saw the war they play, they were full of running and they played on s good surface maybe they had motivation on that side but thumbs up to the boys.” Said Pasuwa.
Meanwhile, Davie Muyombe, the interim coach for Baka, said his boys were slow on the ball and hence punished by Bullets but he sees a future of having a good side in Baka City.

“It happens in Football, it’s a painful defeat, the boys were too slow on the ball and Bullets capitalized on that to score those goals but the future looks good, we will soon have a better side.” Said Muyombe.
The People’s team started on high after Ephraim Kondowe’s weak shot was saved by Omari Hamis in the 6th minute then Chawanangwa Gumbo shot wide before Mwakyombe scored for Baka in the 14th minute.
Kondowe leveled the scores 7 minutes later from a rebound after the goalkeeper had saved a Gomegzani Chirwa’s shot then Bullets pressurized with Sambani, Mujuru, and Kondowe all missing their attempts before Chirwa setting Gumbo for a goal on the 45th minute.
Bullets introduced Ronald Chitiyo for Ernest Petro at half time then they started pressurizing but could not find a goal then Baka made three changes, Wongani Kamanga, Nature Kawonga, and Robert Time replacing Joseph Mwambungu, Gift Kasambala and Philimoni Ndhlovu on 60th minute before Hamis denying Kondowe on a one on one situation three minutes later.
Kamanga hit the side netting in the 66th minute for Baka before Lanjesi Nkhoma sent his effort wide then Yamikani Mologeni and Antony Mfune replaced Kondowe and Clyde Senaji in the 73rd minute and Mwaungulu planted his header over the bar.
Lloyd Aaron and Lanjesi Nkhoma were substituted for Precious Phiri and Hassan Kajoke while Mwakyombe paved the way for Cloud Mkoko but Bullets held on to the win.
The defending Champions remain unbeaten after four matches having won twice and drawn twice to collect 8 points on third position while Baka are still stuck in the relegation zone in the 15th minute with a point from four games in the League.
