Coaches leave on performance grounds

The Club has confirmed the departure of the two coaches saying that their move is based on the performance grounds after a morale-sapping performance of the team this season.

After Nginde’s departure, the Inkhalamu Zga ku Chitipa decided to appoint Kadzuwa but the coach together with Kafoteka who was at relegated Extreme FC last season, failed to grind results in their opening 8 fixtures to the season.

Chitipa United General Secretary, Watson Kabange confirmed the development saying the two coaches tendered their resignation letters.

“They all cited performance grounds as reasons to resign from their posts, I can confirm,” he said. “They both gave us their resignation letters saying that the team is not performing. After receiving their letters, we sat down and discussed the matter, after assessing their performance and reasons, we decided to allow them to move on with the decision.”

Gift Mkamanga will take the role of an interim Coach assisted by Wakisa Munkhondya.
