Lungu played his first game for the club last weekend when Ekhaya played a goalless draw against Blue Eagles and the administration is impressed with his performance and ready to offer him an enticing deal to keep him at the Club.
“Ekhaya Football Club has dangled a lucrative deal worthy MK1.5 Million Monthly to entice the Malawi National Team left back to sign a long-term contract with the Cowboys,” writes Times Sports.
The Club is also offering Lungu a game bonus of MK100, 000 and executive membership on a medical scheme.
The player signed a short-term contract hoping to seal a deal with European Clubs and his manager, Ntchindi Mhango wanted him to he active before traveling to Europe. His representatives didn’t even ask for a signing on fee.
“We have a number of offers but not yet ready for consumption,” said one of the representatives of the player.
