“We appreciate the gesture by Chinjoka Civil Building Contractor as it will make the league more competitive,” Manda said.
According to Manda, the initiative aims to reward excellence while motivating players to perform at their highest level and promoting discipline, hard work, and competitiveness within the league.
“We urge our teams to maintain their discipline throughout the league as we have an image to protect, including that of our sponsor,” he emphasized.
Technical Director for Mponela FC, Precious Mvula, whose team is among those competing in the Top 8, welcomed the development, saying they are ready for the challenge and view the man of the match award as extra motivation.
“This will definitely bring more competition among the teams because players will be working hard to get the award,” Mvula said.
