The Central Region Football Association (CRFA) has commended teams playing in the TVM Division One league for their discipline during the first preliminary round of the league.
General Secretary for the association Antonio Manda made the sentiments following the end of the round indicating that they are impressed with how teams performed.

“It has been a good journey in the preliminary round so far and we’re expecting the same in the last half of the league,” Manda said.
He then urged teams to prepare well for the last round that will involve eight teams in order to make it more competitive.
“We aim for a better last round of the league which will see three teams promoted to the Premier Division,” Manda revealed.
He added that the region has introduced a new system called CMS that will be used by teams playing in the last round of the league.
Manda further applauded their sponsor Apostle Vitumbiko Mkandawire of Time for Victory Ministries indicating that the financial support provided by Mkandawire has made the league to be more attractive.
The second round is scheduled to kick off mid of this month and expected to end in December, 2025.
The league was launched on 22 June, 2025 at Chimbiya ground in Dedza where Chimbiya Stars played to a goalless draw against Simbi FC.
Teams that have qualified in group A are; Chimbiya Stars FC, Lobi Young Soccer FC, Simbi FC and Play Football MW FC.
In group B, teams that have qualified are; Kalembelembe FC, Civo Reserves FC, Creck Sporting FC and Mponela FC.
