Creck Sporting Club are eager to continue their resurgence in the TNM Super League as they target maximum points against MAFCO FC this Saturday at Chitowe Stadium.
The Lilongwe-based side appears to have found their rhythm after a sluggish start to the season. They have picked up four points from their last two matches—a 2-0 victory over Songwe Border United followed by a hard-fought draw against Kamuzu Barracks—matching the total points they managed in their first five games combined.

This recent turnaround comes in the wake of significant changes within the club’s technical panel. Former head coach Joseph Kamwendo, his assistant Abel Mkandawire, and strikers’ trainer Chiukepo Msowoya were all shown the exit door due to the team’s early struggles.

Interim head coach Harry Saidi, now at the helm, has brought renewed energy to the camp and believes his side is ready to snatch another win.
“We are ready to face MAFCO. We expect a tough match, especially since they will be playing at home, but we believe we can walk away with maximum points,” said Saidi.
Creck will be without captain Hadji Wali and striker Gift Kadawati, who are both nursing injuries. However, Saidi insists this setback will not derail their plans.
“We signed over 30 players this season, so we have enough depth in the squad to cover those absences. We are confident heading into the game,” he added.
Currently sitting 11th on the log with eight points from seven games, Creck have scored five goals and conceded nine. A win against MAFCO could push them closer to the top half of the table and solidify their newfound momentum.
