Mozambique National team will play at home in their FIFA World Cup Qualifiers after Confederation of African Football approved the Zimpeto National Stadium to host high profile matches but with conditions.
The facility was barred from hosting international matches as it failed to hold to standards for for the game but ahead of the international break in September, the facility will be available for use.

Meanwhile, the Association has placed a restriction that all games to be played at the facility should be played during the day and that spectators at the facility has been stripped from 45,000 to 15,000.

The Mambas are expected to host Botswana on September 9, 2025 in the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers. The CAF Champions League representatives, Black Bulls will also use the same facility for their home matches.
CAF approved over 50 stadia in Africa, including the magnificent Bingu National Stadium to host the Qualifiers in the continent.
