Dedza based Chipiku Premier division side Dedza Young Soccer FC are in danger of losing their place in the Chipiku Premier division due to failure to meet registration requirements, Wa Mpira understands.
According to a letter seen by our publication from Central Region Football Association to the General Secretary of the club which has been signed by CRFA’s General Secretary Antonio Manda, the team has failed to meet the registration requirements outlined by the league which are essential for ensuring fair competition and maintaining the integrity of the league.

“Despite multiple reminders and extensions provided by the league, your team has not taken the necessary steps to fulfill the registration criteria within the stipulated timeframe,” reads part of the letter.
It therefore, indicated that they are left with no choice but to issue the final warning.
CRFA has given the team a grace period of four days to rectify the situation and complete the registration process in full compliance with the leagues’s rules and regulations.
“Failure to do so will leave us with no option but to convene CRFA Executive Committee to discuss the possible expulsion of your team from the league,” it added.
Meanwhile, The team’s Chairperson Blessings Shawa has confirmed to us that they have a balance to settle that is why they are yet to start playing their matches in the 2024 season.
“Its true that we are yet to settle the full amount for our participation in the league but we’re doing that before end of business today,” Shawa said.
Dedza Young Soccer has find life very tough in the Chipiku Premier division since being relegated from the country’s elite league in the 2016 season after being promoted in 2015 from the Chipiku Premier division.
