There’s a palpable sense of optimism in the Nomads’ camp as three key players—attacker Mphatso Kamanga, goalkeeper Chancy Mtete, and captain Lawrence Chaziya—have all commenced light training. This welcome news comes as Head Coach Bob Mpinganjira prepares his second-placed side to host seventh-placed Dedza Dynamos FC in a crucial TNM Super League encounter this Sunday at Kamuzu Stadium.
While acknowledging the challenging nature of the upcoming fixture, Mpinganjira expressed confidence in his squad, particularly commending their resilience amidst recent injury setbacks. “We know it’s going to be a difficult game. Dedza [Dynamos] are a good side and they will come hard on us, but we are ready for them, and we hope for a positive outcome,” he stated to Club Media.
Mpinganjira lauded his players for their consistent effort and “gallant fight” in recent games, especially given the depleted squad. The sight of Kamanga, Mtete, and Chaziya back on the training pitch, even for light sessions, will undoubtedly lift spirits and provide a timely boost for the Lali Lubani Boys.
