FCB Nyasa Big Bullets striker Babatunde Adepoju has established a one-goal lead over his closest Golden Boot rivals, Greyson Msowoya and Zeliati Nkhoma.
The Nigerian forward now boasts six goals from eight games played by “The People’s Team” this season. His latest strike came on Sunday, sealing a 2-0 victory over Mighty Tigers after Hassan Kajoke had opened the scoring late in the game.

Meanwhile, Zeliati Nkhoma of Kamuzu Barracks was unable to add to his tally as “the Yellow Submarines” suffered a 3-0 defeat to Mighty Wanderers FC at Champions Stadium. Greyson Msowoya also fired a blank in Tigers’ 2-0 loss to Bullets.
Hot on their heels with four goals each are Chifuniro Mpinganjira of Dedza Dynamos, Chikumbutso Salima (Big Bullets), Wisdom Mpinganjira (Mighty Wanderers), and Wongani Lungu (Big Bullets).
Babatunde previously won the Golden Boot in 2022 with 18 goals before his move to South Africa to join Venda Academy. Bullets are currently leading the table with 21 points from 8 games while Mighty Wanderers are second with 19 points from 7 games
