The NBS Bank National Division League side, Bangwe All Stars, has received a major boost ahead of their bid to return to the TNM Super League after partnering with AYH Motors in a deal that will see the company pumping K80 million on the first year alone.
This has been known on Saturday during a rebranding Bangwe Ceremony at the City Motors building at Ginnery Corner in Blantyre where the team announced its new hierarchy and introducing their kit among others.

Meanwhile, the owner of AYH Motors, Imran Master is the new club president, Isaac Jomo Osman will be the vice President and Head coach and his daughter, Shamim Osman is the new Chief Executive Officer for the club.
Speaking during the event, the new President said he is happy to start a new life with the team and that he loves Malawian football hence accepting a new role at the team.
“Some would ask why an Indian origin is heading a team from the Ghetto, its because Football is one. I am not new to the sport because we have ever sponsored Immigration FC so now we are opening a new chapter with this team in order to reach new heights.” He said.
Meanwhile, the new CEO Shamim Osman said she is happy to become the second woman in Malawi to hold that kind of position and that the team has a vision which is to return back to the TNM Super League.
However, the new vice President of the team, Isaac Jomo Osman, said the deal will change the welfare of the players and the team as such this will help to achieve their goals and become one of the best teams in the country.
He further pleaded with the government of Malawi to consider companies that are sponsoring teams in Malawi by reducing the cost of taxes as part of attracting them to stay longer.
“This is a reason why these companies don’t stay in our football because they don’t benefit from the deals in Sports. If the government do so, these companies will make profits and appreciate these partnerships as much important.” Said Osman.
He also called out people to attend their matches as Football Association of Malawi has commanded that all gate revenues will be going to the home side in the NDL so this will help the team to have enough money to run their club. He also challenged that the team will play in the top flight League next year.
About the status of Ntopwa FC and Bangwe All Stars as one, Osman said the clubs are working separately for this season and that includes the Women’s team but he will be at the centre of running both clubs until in the near future when they may become one.
The team also unveiled their kit which has a red shirt, red shot and red socks but they will be using the white and black during training so as to keep the legacy of the former President, Mphatso Jika, who was also in attendance at the ceremony.
The team kick start their new campaign in the country’s second tier league on Sunday afternoon when they host Jenda United at the Mpira Stadium.
