Forward Andrew Joseph has been named Silver Strikers’ Player of the Month for September, beating fellow nominees Levison Maganizo and George Chikooka to claim the prestigious award.
The accolade marks Joseph’s first nomination since joining Silver Strikers during the midseason transfer window from Chitipa United, capping off an impressive start to his career with the club.

Joseph announced his arrival in spectacular fashion when he made his debut against Shire FC in the FDH Cup round of 16. Coming on in the second half, the forward made an immediate impact, scoring a goal and providing an assist in less than 40 minutes of play.


He continued his fine form into continental competition, finding the back of the net in a 1-1 draw against Elgeco Plus FC in the CAF Champions League first preliminary round in Mauritius.
On Friday, Bluewaves Energies Ltd presented Joseph with a complete gas cooking set, including a gas stove, 6 KG cylinder, gas, LPG pipe, and regulator in recognition of his achievement. The presentation was made by Bluewaves LPG Sales Executive Jonathan Mhango.
In addition, club partners C.P Investments awarded Joseph a K500,000 shopping voucher for his September Player of the Month win.
