Malawi-born England-based forward Shaquille Gwengwe is enjoying brilliant form in England, having scored in each of his last five games with eight goals in the process.
The 24-year-old forward has become a reliable goalscorer for Poole Town Football Club, which he joined in the summer from Dorchester Town, where he netted 40 goals across three seasons.

Gwengwe is flying high at his new club, having scored 16 goals in 17 appearances, and the goals keep coming as he continues to play a key role in the team’s attack.
He is the club’s designated penalty taker this season and is yet to miss from the spot. In his last five games, five of his eight goals have come from penalties, accounting for half of his total goals this season.

He also claimed his second hat-trick for the club on Wednesday as Poole Town came from behind to beat Taunton 4-1 away from home in the Southern League Premier South, a performance that propelled him to the top of the league’s scoring charts.
Gwengwe has netted 13 goals in just 12 league appearances, placing him two goals ahead of Ryan Seager of Havant & Waterlooville, who was also on target for his team on Wednesday.
The forward also boasts three goals from the Emirates FA Cup Qualifiers, where his team were eliminated in the third round of the competition.

His brilliant form, which has seen him score 48 percent of his team’s league goals (13 of 27), has helped Poole Town position themselves third in the league standings with 27 points from 13 games, just seven points behind leaders Walton & Hersham.
Gwengwe is eligible to represent both Malawi and England, having been born to Malawian parents in England, but he is yet to make his mark at international level.
