After introducing the MK13 Million Kavina trophy last year, Msaiwale Kavina AKA Mr Champion who is also the owner of Champions Stadium in Mponela Dowa has again invested a huge amount of money into Football.
Kalavina has announced that this year’s tournament has been budgeted at MK20 Million and teams will come from all three regions of the country.

Kalembelembe Football Club and Ekhaya United will be involved in a battle against each other before the 2023 quadrupwinners’ers younger side, FCB Nyasa Big Bullets Reserve meet their rivals Mighty Mukuru Wanders Reserve at the launching of the cup on 20th April as they will fight for mk 1,000,000 at Champion Stadium in Dowa.
According to the statement signed by Chibwana,Secretarypions Cup General Secritary shows that the Cup will kick off on 28th April .
FCB Nyasa Big Bullets Reserve, Mighty Mukuru Wanders Reserve, Kalembelembe FC, and Ekhaya united despite being involved in the Opening trophy, but are also among the 40 teams taking part in the 20 million 2024 Champions Cup.
Mighty Mukuru Wanderers Reserve are the defending Champions of the tournament after beating Kalonga Rovers 1-0 at Champions Stadium.
