The National Youth Football Association (NYFA) has expressed satisfaction with the progress of the FCB Katswiri U-20 league in all the districts where the competition is played across the country.
General Secretary for the association Rabson Woodwell made the sentiments in an interview with Wa Mpira when responding to how the competition is progressing so far.

Woodwell”s remarks came barely a week after he warned district administrators against favoritism.
“We’re happy with the level of the competition and most importantly the platform that has been provided to our future national team players,” he said.
He commended the administrators for being professional enough following their request at the onset of the league.
“So far so good as we have not received any big issue in all our districts of the competition in the running affairs of the league,” Woodwell highlighted.
The general secretary also commended their sponsor First Capital Bank for its timely support provided to the association.
“If you remember, they provided an amount of money worth K21 million recently which has assisted us especially on the part of referees a development that has created a more friendly environment for all the teams.
“If referees are not paid its always dangerous as it influences issues of corruption among the teams so their payment really helped us to work with our referees in a professional manner,” he lamented.
He then urged teams to maintain their discipline while advising Administrators to work in line with the vision of the FAM President, Fleetwood Haiya.
