Mighty Mukuru Wanderers have shared a positive update on their “injured” midfielder, Blessings Nyekez Singini.
The former Mzuzu City Hammers midfielder suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury during the team’s 3-0 win over CRECK Sporting Club last weekend.

But sharing an update on the development, Wanderers said versatile midfielder, Blessings “Nyekez” Singini is said to be recovering swiftly.
“According to the medical report made available to Wanderers Media, Singini is now just feeling mild pain and is set to return to the pitch for light training as per the latest report,” announces the Club.
Wanderers FC’s Team Doctor, Levison Mwase said Singini underwent X-ray on Monday and nothing abnormal was detected.
“We did X-ray and ligaments’ assessment. We found the ligaments stable and intact,” he told the Club’s Media.

The Nomads’ Team Doctor however updated Wanderers Media that having gone through diagnosis of soft tissue injury, Singini has been put on treatment as he is experiencing mild pain.
“He is having painkillers and is set to start light training tomorrow (Tuesday).
Nyekez limped off the field of play in the 22nd minute after suffering a knock in the knee and was replaced by Baliko Balikihno Mwakanyango. The mesmerizing midfielder won the man of the match accolade during his maiden appearance at Mulanje Park Stadium.
The 23 year old former Mzuzu Hammers’ Captain is a doubt for Sunday’s clash against Bangwe All Stars at Mpira Stadium. He will however be monitored closely to ascertain his availability.
