Time for Victory Ministries (TVM), sponsor of the Central Region Football Association TVM Division One league, has reaffirmed its commitment to continue supporting the competition.
Ministry Secretary Amakhosi Jere made the announcement at Chimbiya ground on Saturday, December 27, 2025, during the league’s final match between Chimbiya Stars and Simbi FC.

Jere explained that the ministry’s vision is to promote youth development through various sporting disciplines, including football, which drives their support for the league.
“We are impressed with what has happened throughout the league, something that has motivated us to continue being part of the association,” he said.
Jere also commended CRFA for running the league professionally, noting that the level of competition demonstrates the association’s dedication to maintaining competitive standards.
“They have shown us that they can be trusted with our resources, so we are impressed,” he added.
Central Region Football Association (CRFA) Chairperson Goodall Chinjoka applauded all teams for their discipline throughout the season.
“We have had good competition because all the teams maintained their integrity, something that we appreciate,” Chinjoka said. He expressed optimism that the partnership with Time for Victory Ministries will continue to flourish.
Champions crowned
Chimbiya Stars clinched the league title with a 2-1 victory over Simbi FC in the season finale at Chimbiya ground. The champions finished with 30 points from 14 games, five points clear of second-placed Kalembelembe FC.
Head coach Paul Chikalema praised his players for their performance despite lacking experience in their debut season in the league.
Pete Time gave Chimbiya Stars an early lead four minutes into the match before Yotamu Chikhunju equalized for Simbi FC in the 26th minute. However, Adam Kazembe restored Chimbiya’s advantage from the penalty spot following a foul inside the box, securing the title for the hosts.
Simbi FC head coach Andrew Meleka congratulated Chimbiya Stars on their league triumph, acknowledging their strong organization throughout the campaign.
Apostle Vitumbiko Mkandawire of Time for Victory Ministries sponsored the league with K15 million. Chimbiya Stars will receive K3 million as champions, while runners-up Kalembelembe will collect K1.8 million.
Chimbiya Stars, Kalembelembe FC, and Mponela FC have earned promotion to the Chipiku Premier Division League.
