Scorchers forward, Temwa Chawinga was on target as Kansas City Current beat Racing Louisville 0-2 to maintain their perfect lead in the National Women’s Soccer League in USA on Friday night.
Chawinga welcomed the ball from the midfield and put it to the right where Michele Cooper sent a brilliant ball and the Malawian finished it into the net for an opener on 64th minute.

This is her 9th goal of the season and her 29th goal for the team in two seasons as she keeps on chasing her second golden boot award in two seasons for the team.
She sits a goal behind the leagues top scorer, Esther Gonzalez Rodriguez of Gotham FC who has 10 goals while Chawinga boosts with two assists on her tally.
Meanwhile, the team has 36 points from 14 games this season, opening a 11 point gap on defending champions, Orlando Pride Women on second.
