Silver Strikers boosted their chances of defending the league title with a 2-1 win over Premier Bet Dedza Dynamos on July 30 at Silver Stadium.
Early and late goals from Chinsisi Maonga (3’) and Binwell Katinji (80’) secured victory for the hosts, while Dedza pulled one back through Marco Chiwaya in the 26th minute.
Despite the win, Silver Strikers assistant coach Mapopa Msukwa expressed concern over player fatigue. “We are tired we have played four games in a week. It showed today, but credit to the boys for pushing through and getting the result,” he said.
