The National Youth Football Association (NYFA) has warned district administrators against favoritism following the resumption of all their leagues across the country.
General Secretary for the association Rabson Woodwell made the call realizing that the second round is always tricky as teams look to compete for different positions.

He is of the view that many administrators forget the main aim of youth football competitions which is to develop young talent until they fulfill their dreams.
“We are not working on isolation as we’re part and parcel of the vision of FAM president Fleetwood Haiya of transforming the game,” Woodwell said.
He reminded all administrators to work hand in hand with all teams regardless of where they operate from.
“We don’t need administrators who favor certain teams at the expense of others because that is frustrating our future national team players,” Woodwell lamented.
He further advised them to stay focused as youth football requires those that are mature and dedicated to the game.
“It is about passion for the game through what you offer and not what you get,” he added.
Currently, the second round for the FCB Katswiri U-20 league has kicked off with proper motivation following the bank’s K21 million part of sponsorship agreement offer to the association.
