The famous Godfrey Nkhakananga is still yet to be assigned to duty in the 2024 TNM Super League as the Super League of Malawi has released the lineup for the officiation in week 2.
The league kicked off last weekend with holders, FCB Nyasa Big Bullets dropping points at Dedza Stadium against Dedza Dynamos in the official opening of the new campaign.

Nkhakananga came into the spotlight last year when he wrecked the Airtel Top 8 Cup season Six opening match between Silver Strikers and Mighty Mukuru Wanderers at Bingu National Stadium.
Football Association of Malawi in conjunction with the Referees Association of Malawi slapped him with a four-month ban for allowing Stain Davie’s goal after signaling a handball offense seconds before.
After serving his ban, he returned to the pitch during the Four-Nation tournament that Malawi hosted last month but he was again under the spotlight when he flashed three red cards during the final between Zimbabwe and Kenya.
In week two, Gift Chicco has been handed his first game of the season as he is expected to take charge of FCB Nyasa Big Bullets’ second fixture of the season against Mighty Waka Waka Tigers at Kamuzu Stadium.
The two sides failed to claim the maximum points from the first games as Tigers succumbed to Macdonald Nginde Mtetemera’s genius as he guided the newly promoted team, CRECK Sporting Club to a 3-1 win.
Chicco is going to be assisted by Richard Shumba and McHastings Kanjati as first and second assistant referees respectively.
A military affair between Kamuzu Barracks and Mafco FC will be spearheaded by Lameck Manda while Christina Mhango and Evance Musonda are going to be his assistants.
Both KB and Mafco FC are looking to battle for maximum points after dropping points from their opening fixtures. Mafco were 2-1 losers to Moyale Barracks while KB battled back to earn a point against Wanderers.
The derby between Karonga United and Chitipa United slated for this Sunday at Karonga Stadium will be handled by Waliko Simfukwe while Pearson Kamanga and Clement Kanduku are going to be Assistants.
Another Northern Region Derby between Mzuzu City Hammers and Baka City will be handled by Mercy Kayira while Ellias Chikoteka and Solomon Silobode are the assistants.
